"Oh." Jun said simply, returning to his reading. Kato's eyebrows raised.

"You okay?" he asked, thingying his head to the side as his glasses slipped down the bridge of his nose. He pushed them up again.

"You could take the day off if you want to..." Keiji said. "One giant mob of shoppers isn't anything we can't handle."

[[ H ] oshi]

Kou shook his head, "Nah, I'm fine..."

[Nuklz]

"All righty then." Keiji said happily. "Tobey, could you help Kato with those boxes?" he pointed to the inventory, which had yet to be placed on the shelves. Jun looked at the clock. "Fifteen minutes, and there's still only five of us down here..." he murmured. "And we all know Manager-san doesn't do a thing around here..."

"Right you are!" Keiji said, grinning.

[[ H ] oshi]

Tobey laughed quietly at the comment, leaveing Kou in a stool behind the second register. He then walked over, helping Kato.

"Thanks," Kato said happily as Tobey came over to help him. "Today's going to be rough, huh? What was it like last year?"

'Angry mobs with shopping carts everywhere, screaming, lost children, coupon overflow, sneezing, scary women with purses...' Jun and Keiji thought simultaneously. Keiji grinned at Jun, giving him that 'I know what you're thinking and you can't do anything about it hahahaha owned' look.

Tobey sighed quietly, sulking abit, "It was crazey, we will leave it at that." He replied quietly, looking to the windows where people started growing impatient. He stopped at one face seeing a girl with mouse ears and glasses, "Hum...I think i found a bookworm within the crown."

[Nuklz]

Kato smiled, looking out of the window as well. "So it would seem. What time is it?"

"Three minutes." Jun said promptly, not bothering to look up at the clock. "We could open now if you guys are done..."

[[ H ] oshi]

He nodded, walking to the window, flipping the sign to open, unlocked the door and was almost completly knocked back by the force of customers pushing thrugh the door.

The mousey girl waited for the chaos to pass before she enetered, scanning the shelves.

Kato blinked as the crowd surged in, almost frightened by thier crazy antics to get to the shelves and stairs as fast as possible. "...eheh..." Already, Jun was being hounded by some people who wanted to know where things were (they weren't getting very far... Jun wasn't exactly the best in customer services), and Keiji had magically diappeared for the time being. Kato approached the mousey girl, smiling. "Can I help you find anything?" he asked kindly, readjusting the glasses on his nose.

She blinked quietly and turned to look at him, fixed her glasses, then nervously yugged on her sleeves, searching for words that wouldn't make her sound dumb.

"Sorry..." She whispered quietly, unsure of what she was sorry for, "I uhm..." She paused and closed her eyes for a moment, "I need to find a present...for someone dear to me..." And to try and find a nice guy as my own personal present...
